Be Prepared

What to Bring

A few essentials and tips to make the most of your bourbon trail adventure at The Bourb Inn.

Comfortable & Hiking Shoes

Distillery tours involve a lot of walking on uneven surfaces. Bring sturdy, comfortable shoes you don’t mind getting a little dusty.

Camera or Phone

The property and surrounding bourbon country are incredibly photogenic. The porch at sunset alone is worth the trip.

Designated Driver Plan

Safety first on the bourbon trail. Plan for a designated driver, hire a local tour company, or ask Steve about transportation options.

Water Bottle

Stay hydrated between tastings. Kentucky summers can be warm, and proper hydration helps you enjoy each distillery visit more.

Bourbon Passport

Pick up a Kentucky Bourbon Trail passport before your first stop. Collect stamps at each distillery and earn your completion t-shirt.

Tasting Notebook

Jot down your favorites at each distillery. After a few tastings, the bourbons start to blur together. Steve can help with tasting notes too.
